Scenez: No Role Modelz is the first entry of the Scenez series. As Tre and his family settle into a new city after facing some trouble in their hometown, they will come to realize that their journey is just beginning and that the struggles they face will only make them stronger. The story follows various teenagers as they navigate high school together, forming bonds that will last a lifetime. Despite the obstacles they encounter, they will find solace in each other and in the power of community. As they navigate the ups and downs of life at Martin Luther King Jr. High School, they will learn valuable lessons about perseverance, determination, and the importance of standing up for what they believe in. Many lessons can be found throughout the book that teaches young people to transform their situations into powerful triumphs. This group of young men and women will have to learn that the world never stops turning and that they must constantly adapt in order to thrive.
